Optional brass engine mount for NT1'16 provides solid engine mounting and easy adjustment. The monoblock engine mount is recommended for medium-high traction conditions and provides more rigidity than standard single engine mounts.
The brass engine mount is also a great option for weight balance adjustment. By using the brass engine mount, the weight of the car is moved more to the back, improving the rotation of the car.

XRAY precision-molded spur gear. Molded from the all-new special lightweight and extra-strong graphite material which gives the gears an optimum balance of hardness, toughness, and flexibility to provide long life, minimal wear, and minimizing breakage or teeth stripping. The graphite gears are also lighter which results in increased drivetrain efficiency.
The spur gear was strategically lightened to reduce rotating mass. The special material will withstand even the most extreme racing conditions which impart high tension on the spur gears. A •must have• for professional racers.
The spur gears are injected in a specially-constructed mold that ensures equal material injection to ensure ultra-true and wobble-free running which makes the NT1 spur gears some of the world's most precise.
Each gear is stamped with the tooth number for easy identification. Available in all popular sizes, allowing you to find the perfect gear ratio for any track.

Molded composite lower & upper front and rear bulkhead sets molded from new hard material, these bulkheads are recommended for high traction and high temperatures.
The front bulkheads were redesigned to accommodate the new front wire anti-roll bar system. The rear upper camber link position on the bulkhead clamp has been provided to increase stability and is recommended for use in very high-traction conditions or when using large-diameter tires in order to help prevent traction rolling. The optional #333131 ball-joint must be used when using this additional roll center position.

The super-lightweight bulkheads have a very clean and lightweight design to create the lowest weight and CG, making the NT1 easy to service while retaining easy access to all parts. The bulkheads create a super-solid platform where all parts are mounted. A special composite mixture was developed to allow repetitive assembly/disassembly without stressing or wearing out the parts.
The main advantage of the composite bulkheads is that they absorb vibrations from the engine and create a natural flex, all of which help to make the NT1 one of the best handling nitro touring cars.

All-new 3S springs have been specifically designed to complement the LP shocks and the rear springs are 4mm shorter than previous NT1 springs.
The front and rear springs now have the same length in order to get more in-corner steering and simplify your tuning parts selection.
The 3S springs, like all other XRAY springs, are manually measured, selected and matched into pairs to guarantee precisely equal length and damping characteristics.

Lower engine mounts made from tough alu alloy, include factory-pressed (non-replaceable) locating pins. Lowered by 1.5mm compare to standard engine mount. Allows to lower engine position by 1.5mm to push the weight as low as possible to lower the CG of the car. Makes the car more stable and makes the car roll less and less traction roll. The Monoblock design provides a stiffer design than the standard single engine mounts but is still a bit more flexible than the Multi-Flex• 1-Piece Engine Mounting System (#338712). The engine area of the car and the area between engine and 2-speed is reinforced but the flex of the chassis is still available. The reinforced area of the chassis between the engine and 2-speed gears reduces the chance of spur gear breakage or stripping. |

The new aluminum front anti-roll bar for the XRAY NT1 allows you to independently adjust the anti-roll bar from downstop, so that the downstop setting does not influence the performance of the anti-roll bar and vice versa.
An added feature of this set is that you can also adjust the wheelbase. The anti-roll bar moves together with the front arm, and wheelbase adjustment shims can be added either in front of the anti-roll bar (to shorten the wheelbase) or behind the arm (to lengthen the wheelbase). |
