Hofer makes Double TQ/Win in 1/8 Eco Buggy at Nationals rnd. 3-4
Last weekend was the third and fourth Swiss championship race in the 1/8 electric buggy category
The weather was very changeable. On Saturday, it was very challenging. I was on the Astro-turf with the setups. The tires as well as the setups were always a lottery to get the right one in the right run.
Xray Team driver Patrick Hofer was always able to find the right setups at the right moment and manager the top qualifier and was even able to achieve the day's victory on Saturday with the first two finals victories in the third round of the Swiss Championship.
The fourth race was on the Sunday of the Swiss Championship in Wollerau.
It was very rainy that day and a lot of water came down from the sky. This meant that setups had to be changed again from the previous day.
Patrick Hofer's Xray vehicle was also very fast on this day. Patrick's equipment worked smoothly, despite very strong water on the track, and he was also able to achieve his top qualifying result on this day, as well as the first two finals to clinch the day's victory in the fourth round of the Swiss championship for Team Xray.
