The Philippine Masters is officially done!
First time in the Philippines – and what a way to experience it with PM25! ??
This event truly lived up to the hype. From the friendly atmosphere in the pits, the amazing people, and the top-tier track to the world-class broadcasting – and of course, Scotty Ernst bringing the energy on the mic – it was an unforgettable weekend.
Race-wise, I’m stoked with how things turned out. In Nitro Truggy, I brought home P3 after a solid 30-minute final. I started P4 and stayed consistent all the way through, with awesome pit support from Zulfadhli Amir and Errol. Really happy to make it onto the podium in this one, especially in such a competitive field. Big congrats to Burak Kilic for taking the win and to Plamen Petrov for second – I’m proud to stand alongside those guys on the podium.
In Electric Buggy, I just missed the A-main by a single point in qualifying, landing P16 overall. That meant starting first in the B-main – and while there were no bump-ups, I managed to win both legs after a fun and close battle with JQ. It was a great fight and a strong way to finish that class.
Nitro Buggy was another tough but exciting one. I qualified P16 overall and started P4 in the B-main. After a strong Q4 performance with a P12, I was feeling good heading into the race. I gave it everything and came super close to bumping into the A-main – just missed it by one spot. Again! Still, I’m really happy with how the car felt and the way I drove in a stacked field.
Massive thanks to everyone who helped me throughout the weekend – especially Zulfadhli, Errol, and Joel Power for all the support and for keeping me dialed in. I made a bunch of new friends and had such a great time with the pit camp – full of good times, laughs, and memories I won’t forget.
Final results: P3 in Nitro Truggy, P16 in Nitro Buggy, and P16 in E-Buggy.
