The 2025 1/8 Buggy Czech Nationals took place on the second weekend of August in Horni Jeleni at MaxLand.
The event kicked off on Friday with open practice, followed by the grand opening of our brand-new 1/10 Astro track. We were joined by friends, sponsors, and supporters for some great conversations, food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Later in the afternoon, racers returned to the 1/8 track to finish off the practice sessions.
Saturday began with two rounds of reseeding to form balanced heats, followed by qualifying. I was able to secure overall TQ in both Electric and Nitro classes, with Dan Hofman and Patrick Bremstaller rounding out the top 3 in both categories.
Sunday started with a quick shakedown practice before the finals. Things went according to plan — I won A1 and A2 to take the overall victory and claim the E-Buggy National Title. Dan secured second place, and Vojtech Hujer completed the podium in third.
In Nitro, I grabbed pole position for the 30-minute final after winning my semifinal. Once again, things went smoothly, and I was able to secure another TQ + Win, earning my 14th National Title! Daniel finished 2nd and Jakub Michalski 3rd after an intense final.
In the hobby class, Vojta Johan cruised with his XB8E to the finish to take the first place, with Tobias Petrik 2nd and Erik Turicik 3rd.
