What a weekend in Leipzig with the German National Team 1:8 Eco.
The track in Leipzig was completely covered with artificial turf and had a lot of grip. A beautiful track and a beautiful facility. Thanks to MRC Leipzig e.V.
The training sessions were going really well. I tried out a few things here and there, and it kept getting better. We were able to quickly find the right setup. The preliminary rounds went very well, and I qualified directly for the semifinals. Then on Saturday evening, the youth race. What was that? Due to some not-so-good mistakes, I dropped back to second place. Behind Maxim Milde, and then, unfortunately, his car died on the last lap, and I was able to win the race. I also won the second youth race.
The semifinals were on Sunday. I got off to a good start and qualified for the final.
In the final, I had a lot of fights and managed to cling onto third place. I'm very happy with this placement. I never would have expected it. My XRAY ran flawlessly all weekend, powered by LRP GmbH batteries and a Power HD GTS-6.
