Last weekend was the 5th and final round of the 2025 BRCA F1 Nationals
After a good Saturday of practice and the car feeling good, it turned into a Sunday to forget for me, having not made any changes the car i struggled all day with a lack of grip and no matter what i changed i couldn't get the car driveable enough to be in contention for the win like i usually would be, unfortunately we are restricted to a single set of tyres for the meeting so i couldn't try an alternative set to eliminate that which could have been the cause of my issues
Finishing P5 overall is not the result i expect from myself so of course i am disappointed, but we will look into the reasons why i struggled this time around and next time out we will come back as strong and fast as ever
Aside from my personal struggles, it was another good weekend for team XRAY, taking yet another double podium with James taking P2 and Rob taking P3, congratulations to both of them!
XRAY 8x BRCA F1 National Champion
After the championship wrapped up this past weekend i am officially crowned the 2025 BRCA F1 National Champion, taking my total to 8 titles in 9 seasons, all with the XRAY X1 platform
Once again this year i have ended the championship with the maximum possible score, taking 6 out of 8 final leg wins, giving me the full 500 points, and this provisionally gave me the title after round 4 of the series due to my lead being too great to overcome in the final round last weekend
It has been another great year, the car has worked faultlessly in all conditions all year, and consistently having 2x XRAY on the podium shows that well, as well as James taking P3 in the championship with his XRAY making it a double XRAY podium, behind Michael in P2
Already looking forward to the 2026 season, where i will be trying to make it 9x national championships, as well as other big events planned throughout the year!
