Last weekend was round 3 of MICC and for this round they ran an F1 class to showcase the class Infront of the big entry of drivers they have.
The day started with a single practice run allowing me to learn the track and surface in preparation for qualifying
Onto qualifying and the first 3 runs went well, a few small setup tweaks between the runs kept the car fast and this meant I took P1 in all 3 runs. Onto run 4 and a rear bearing failure ended my run after just a few laps, but I had already secured pole position so the DNF was unfortunate but not a disaster
The day rounded out with a single leg final, having not ran Q4 we hadn't made changes to the car to adjust to the grip so the car wasn't perfect but I built an early lead and maintained it throughout, ending the race around 10 seconds clear of 2nd and 3rd place.
