X4 on podium at Catalonian Championship R2 in Spain

This race was the second race of the Catalonian Championship. It was definitely a challenge, having to cope with wind gusts of over 60 km/h and temperatures as low as 6º C. Saturday was a productive day nonetheless, Luis and I were able to be the fastest guys on track no matter what condition we endure during each round, but it was only practice.
Going to Cataluña for the first time in quite some time meant we didn't have a ranking, so we had a clear disadvantage when it came to qualifying, as we were getting the track greener than the top guys. We ended up lining up P2 and P3, Luis and me, behind the always fast Carles Echarri.
It was all for grabs in the finals, more than usual as they race for 6 minutes in the finals in this championship. And it didn't disappoint, we fought close through all finals. It was a constant battle, but at the end I could secure the first two finals and wrap it up. Luis had a nice fight with Carles in the last one, but a misfortunate contact going into the straight, made him lose 3 seconds which were impossible to recover in the last minute of the race.
