The 4th round of French 200mm Touring Car Championship was held in the Minis Racing Car Longvicien under blue skies and warm weather. This race was very well organized and more XRAY NT1 cars were at the start including two XRAY drivers Basile Concialdi and Nicolas Bougnoteau.

There were 99 drivers present: 12% in Promotion, 59% in National, and 29% in Elite. The track had a very technical layout with fast sequences.
Cyril Nâ™Daye (click to enlarge)
The drivers of the XRAY NT1 cars were untouchable in qualification and both went into the final directly. Also, French Champion (electric) Cyril Nâ™Daye tested the new XRAY NT1 here and he said: âśThe cars works very well and the French Team NT1 was great, I had good time at this raceâť.
MAIN FINAL

It was a good final with battles to the last second of the 30min final. From the beginning there was a battle for every position⦠âśwheel to wheelâť. Arnaud Chaussard set a good strategy by filling his fueltank at 6 minutes and therefore he was in the top 3 behind Concialdi and Arnadli.

Renaud Monin had a technical problem and lost his chance of a podium finish. Nicolas Bougnoteau had to adjust his carburetor and after he returned to the track he battled with Michael Derderian. In the 22 minutes of this race, Chaussard was the leader, ahead of Basile Concialdi and BA Arnaldi, they all were âśwheel to wheelâť but Chaussard made a small mistake which allowed Arnaldi and Concialdi to pass him.

Chaussard was pressing on both drivers but Arnaldi and Concialdi held their positions to the end of the race.
