The 3rd Czech championship of the NITRO 1:10 category was held on June 23, 2007 in Slavkov u Brna… one of the quickest and biggest Czech tracks. This track would test how well the NT1 would stand up at quick tracks. All drivers used Lola bodies.
During qualifications the NT1 did very well. Martin Pater won the first qualification. Martin Bayer resigned after an engine failure, and Michal Bok resigned because of defective gear. Michal Bok won the next two qualifications, with Martin Pater and Pavel Jansa driving excellently. Martin Bayer didn’t finish the 3rd qualification again.

During the championship the chassis worked excellently, with drivers only making small adjustments. Michal Bok was using GRP 37/40 tyres. Miroslav Jurenka, the main mechanic, was doing a great job. He was helping with setting up the engines and tweaking the gear. Michal advised the rest of the drivers on how to set the chassis. So, the team worked great together.
Straight progression into the main was ensured by these four drivers:
1. Michal Bok XRAY NT1
2. Martin Pater XRAY XRAY NT1
3. Pavel Jansa 4. Martin Bayer XRAY NT1

Before the final, drivers discussed which tyres to use, whether 37/40 or harder. They decided upon 42 front/45 rear.
In the final some drivers had technical problems which put them in less-than-ideal positions. One of them was quite fast, driving first Martin Pater, then Martin Bayer. Tomas Svoboda ensured a very nice 3rd place with his smooth driving. Michal Bok with Martin Pater were driving excellently for 10 minutes. Michal’s kit was working without any problems and his NINJA engine also performed flawlessly. The mechanics did a GREAT job!
