The Norwegian Championship is over.
Results:
- Podium (3rd) in 4wd
- 5th in 2wd
- Norwegian Junior Champion U17 in 2wd and 4wd
My Xray XB2 and XB4 worked great. Had the pace in both 2wd and 4wd to win but Alexander Gjemble was too strong in 2wd and Halvor Gran too strong in 4wd.
In 4wd Alexander and Martin fought wheel to wheel in the last A main battling out the last two spots on the podium, as Halvor won the two first. Gjemble had TQ and managed to keep Martin behind. Then third place for Martin in 4wd. In 2wd the fight for the last podium was between Vincent Ruger (also Xray) and Martin. Martin drove over limits to get past Vincent and lost the 4th place in his attempt to get to the podium. Calculated risk. Then 5th in 2wd.
Congrats to Halvor and Alexander for their National Championships and to Xray driver Vincent Ruger for podium with Xray in 2wd. Thanks also to all the Xray drivers for great team work in the pit.
Ok result in 4wd and satisfied with my A main driving. Also very happy to get Norwegian Junior Championships number 6 and 7 since the first Junior championship in 2023.
Next up is the Norwegian Nationals R3 in Bergen in three weeks.
