Danish Championship 2026 Complete!
The 2026 Danish Championship season has come to an end after four exciting rounds held at four different tracks across Denmark: Næstved, Hillerød, Greve, and Odense.
The season offered a bit of everything. We enjoyed fantastic sunshine and perfect racing conditions during the first two rounds, while the final two events challenged drivers and teams with wet and rainy conditions. Despite the changing weather, the racing was close, competitive, and enjoyable throughout the year.
For Team XRAY Denmark, the season was a great success.
In the 1/10 Nitro Touring Car class, Claus Ryeskov secured the Danish Championship title and finished the season in P1, delivering consistent performances throughout all four rounds.
The 1/8 Nitro On-Road class was equally successful for XRAY. Søren Bang claimed the Danish Championship title with an impressive P1 overall. To make it even better, David Hansen finished in P2. This achievement is particularly remarkable as 2026 was David's debut season in the 1/8 IC category.
Congratulations to both drivers on their fantastic results and to all XRAY racers who represented the brand throughout the season.
A huge thank you goes to everyone involved in organizing the Danish Championship series this year. Special thanks to Jørn Birkebæk and Ralph Lorentsen for their enormous effort and dedication to making the championship possible.
