In 2009 after the X10 release, Team Airspeed decided to become a pioneer in endurance races and was the first team in the state to use the XRAY X10 in this kind of racing. Our team made all the necessary changes to the chassis, make the battery change more quickly & easily, and to fit classic rubber TC wheels on this pan car chassis.

A more detailed explanation of the race:
The race is run for 24 hours without a single break in any weather. The racing team consists of 6 drivers (maximum) and 1 mechanic. There is a battery change after each 20-30 minutes of the race, and team has 6 sets of tires for the entire race.

After the chassis had been redesigned, we started short but intensive testing to ensure we could stand up against the competition. Right at the first start with the X10 back in 2009 we achieved a great 2nd place only 8 laps behind the race winner with over 4000 laps.

Seeing the success in 24h race Le Celakovice, our competition decided to switch to the XRAY chassis due to the consistency the chassis showed during whole 24 hours, parts durability, and speed.

For the 2010 race we decided to start with the original X10 chassis and our affiliated team -RC TechniKa Racing Team with the new XRAY X10 Link. This way we had a chance to compare both chassis and moreover to further test the lifespan of the X10.

Moreover, the XRAY chassis has become the most popular and most used among all teams thanks to its consistency, durability, and speed. The XRAY X10 won this race and achieved a rare success - driving nearly 1740km in 7725 laps in 2 races without a single failure. For each of the 2 races we used a new set of XRAY bearings which then worked flawlessly for 24 hours without servicing.

In the 12-hour Blansko race, taking place later this year, we decided to use the same chassis and test the lifespan of a single chassis even more. We raced another 411 km in this race to take 4th place. So, to this moment our car drove more than 2150 km. Moreover, in the last race we had bad weather with a lot of rain. Despite that the car showed no signs of any problems. The race was won by RCA Kladno racing with the XRAY X10 Link.
