In mid-March we went to Zillisheim in the east part of the country for the first French EP TC national. This is the first race of the season and the only one on carpet. This year the Stock class will experience 10.5T with fixed timing... and due to that change we had only 16 drivers in Stock. In Modified there were 35 drivers.
In Stock class, Remi Callens was really impressive and dominated the qualification with his XRAY T3'12. Two other XRAY drivers also accessed the A-main : N. Schwendimann (3) and JJ Cachafeiro (7) The finals for R. Callens were really hard. He crashed in the first one, giving the victory to Aki Permentier. He dominated the second one, and finally won the third race after traffic trouble at the beginning.

In Modified class, after three practices Loic Jasmin was the fastest, and he confirmed this in the qualifiers. He got pole position after the 5 runs. Alexandre Laurent â“ who just switched to XRAY â“ qualified in third position. And he was followed by four other XRAY drivers: Manual Wagner (5), Alexandre Dusart (7), Mathias Rascol (8) and Jeremy Limoges (10).
For the finals, L. Jasmin was for sure the fastest, and since he won the 2 first races he won the competition. He was followed by L. Urbain in 2nd position and A. Laurent in 3rd.

Being the first race of the year, everyone was happy to compete on this track. It was excellent results for XRAY in Stock, and 2nd place in Modified. We will now work for a double win at the end of April at an indoor asphalt track.
