Alu rear shock adapters allow to mount rear shocks lower on the suspension arm which helps to generate more rear traction especially on carpet & astro tracks.
The mounting adapters allow to place the CG lower and with two different mounting alternative allows to mount the shocks either inside or outside. The adapters feature arrows for easy identification of the mounting position.

The chassis plate includes multiple mounting positions for the rear transmission for a standard or short position to adjust handling to match any track condition.
Standard transmission position is suitable in high traction conditions to improve stability.
Shorter transmission position is suitable for lower traction surfaces to increase rear traction.

The main advantage & benefit of progressive springs is that as the car initially enters the corner the springs work like softer springs to provide maximum traction. XRAY ECS Drive Shaft in length 83mm with 2.5mm pin. The XRAY•s unique ECS Drive Shaft equalizes the speed between the drive shaft and the wheel.
With a unique 2-piece joint between the axle and the wheel, the same extreme wheel turning angle is divided into two shallower angles without joint binding. This means that at the same cornering speed, the inner wheel will not bind or vibrate. Drive through the corner is more stable, more precise, and easier to drive. The ECS Drive Shafts help also with improved landing after jumps.
With the ECS drive shafts, wheel vibrations and noise are decreased to minimum, steering is increased, stability of the car is increased and cornering speed and smoothness are noticeably increased as well. A must have option part.

Repositioned lower shock mount locations lower the shocks and shock tower to decrease the CG.
The design of the arm allows for a greater range of adjustments. The opening for the C-hub is larger for greater wheelbase adjustments possibilities compared to previous versions.

Precision-machined 41T differential bevel for large volume gear differential specially designed to use on the XB4 when smaller front tires are used. The 41T bevel gear will result in an overdrive characteristics that will help to compensate for the larger rear tires.
XRAY's unique split design of the gear differential features a separate lightweight crown gear and a separate diff cover. The split design results in significantly lower weight and improves the service comfort.
The crown gear is CNC-machined from Hudy Spring Steel• and ultra-hardened making it super strong, reliable and with much higher life span.
Notice:
In case there is a damage to the pinion gear there is high chance that also the crown gear was damaged even the damage is not visible. Therefore if pinion gear is exchanged then also crown gear must be carefully inspected and rather exchanged. Very important is also the gear mesh and how the diff is shimmed out in the bulkhead.

The XB4 gear diff ensures increased traction on slippery tracks. Suggested also to use on bumpy surface where it helps to better absorb the bumps. Larger oil volume prevents the diff from overheating, extending its lifespan.
The super-smooth gear diff includes a composite case and cover with exchangeable spur gear. The gear diff set includes 81T spur gear and a range of various spur gears is available as an option.
The internal gears are precision-molded from tough XRAY developed composite material, ensuring long lifespan and super-smooth, efficient operation.
The maintenance-free diff design will benefit racers of all levels. When the diff is correctly built, there is no need for maintenance for a very long time• no need for frequent oil changes, and no leakage due to our superior sealing system.

Unique chassis with shorter and longer wheelbase integrated in one chassis. There are two different mounting positions for center and rear diff assembly that allows to choose between a shorter and longer chassis alternative.
The shorter chassis setting makes the car to rotate better in corners and is recommended for high traction tracks.
The longer chassis setting makes the car more stable and is recommended for low traction tracks or bumpy Astro tracks.
The thicker and specially milled-out chassis was redesigned for XB4•20 to increase cornering speed and overall stability.
CNC-machined chassis made from 2.5mm high-quality Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, strategically machined to make it as light as possible without affecting strength or rigidity and to achieve the desired flex characteristics. Black coated.

FRONT linear springs have been specifically designed to complement the big-bore shocks. Spring rate is constant during the entire spring compression. Marked with dots for easy identification. These springs extend the existing springs line up for further set-up adjustments.
The springs, like all the other XRAY springs, are manually measured, selected and matched into pairs to guarantee precisely equal length and damping characteristics.

The unique XRAY ECS Drive Shaft with 2.5mm pin equalizes the speed between the drive shaft and the wheel. With a unique 2-piece joint between the axle and the wheel, the same extreme wheel turning angle is divided into two shallower angles without joint binding. This means that at the same cornering speed, the inner wheel will not bind or vibrate. Drive through the corner is more stable, more precise, and easier to drive. The ECS Drive Shafts help also with improved landing after jumps.
With the ECS drive shafts, wheel vibrations and noise are decreased to minimum, steering is increased, stability of the car is increased and cornering speed and smoothness are noticeably increased as well. A must have option part.

Optional brass chassis brace fits in the lower part of the composite brace connected directly to the chassis, generating more stability. When using this brace, the composite rear lower brace must be removed. The weight of the car is moved more to the rear, improving the rotation of the car and lowering CG.

The optional ultra-lightweight completely redesigned, high-performance, low-profile Alpha body with super-smooth airflow and all-new downforce areas. The Alpha body gives increased steering & stability while also improving handling in jumps. Lower weight reduces the roll of the car and improves rotation in corners.
The front part of the body has a new high-downforce area. The sides of the body have upper downforce areas to generate more mid-body downforce, and the straight sidewalls improve stability. The upper part of the body was redesigned with a smooth flow channel.
Different XB4 bodies are available in different thicknesses for fine tuning the performance of the car.
