Fantastic event realized by Max from HMM this weekend! Maybe one of the best 1/10th track Iâ™ve driven on! It was a real pleasure to drive around, with both XB4 and XB4-2wd dialed! About 130 drivers attended the race, reaching the entry limit really quickly.
In 2wd, I fought both in qualifications and finals with Stephane Deroch for TQ and the win. All would be decided in A3 as I won Q2 and A2. Unfortunately, some mistakes cost me a lot of time and I couldnâ™t catch him back in A3.
In 4wd, it was all about XRAY! Many drivers were using XB4 2014, choosing it for its performance and of course its reliability. With the back section (wooden jumps) really hard to clear perfectly every lap, we saw many competitor cars brokenâ¦
In this class, it was all Lorenzo Crolla or me taking the wins. I TQed and I would start 1st in A main. I make the wrong tyre choice in A1 going with new ones, which allowed Lorenzo to win. In A2, Lorenzo put a solid round and won again, taking the overall win. As many locals were filling the hall with amazing atmosphere, we all decided Lorenzo would drive A3 for the show! It was 5 minutes on fire as we were driving super fast and side by side!
I then won A3, securing the 2nd spot on the podium.
