We headed to north west nitro this past weekend, a part grass / dirt track close to Blackpool. I have only been to the track once before. It is bumpy and challenging but very rewarding when you get it right.
From the previous weeks AstroTurf race we put on some thinner roll bars added more droop and went out in practice. A quick tune of the engine and we were set up for 1 of qualifying, with my car feeling great.

My qualifying went well although I was seeded in a lower heat having only been there once before and therefore traffic was a slight issue. That been said, my xb8 was awesome and we managed to take TQ on count back.

I started the main well only making one minor mistake on the first lap through he rhythm section. I quickly made a move on lap 2 to regain 1st, holding a sizeable lead until the end.
My teammate Richard Greenhough managed to bring his FX powered XB8 home in second making it an XRAY/FX, one, two on the day
