Third round of XRAY WINTER SERIES Morava was organized on 19th of December in sports hall of local high school. This time participation broke the number of 100. At the end 105 cars came through the loop. Those cars were divided into five classes as usually - OPEN, STOCK 17.5t, F1, GT 1:10, HOBBY.

Break between qualifications and final heats was filled with XRAY WORKSHOP, led by myself. As Xray Team driver I kindly shared all useful information and recommended a few tips based on my experiences with Xray T4 chassis. At the beginning I focused on basics like care about tires, setup after race, body mounting etc. Then I continued with my setup tips and revealing how those components work. I think many racers really appreciate that opportunity to ensure themselves they´re dealing correctly with their cars or to change the way of approach to cars generally. It was also rewarding to me thanks to applause after my speech.

OPEN: From the early beginning Kuba Šimurda lead complete starting grid behind him. Even though young talent Oliver Havránek was doing his best, Kuba exploited his experiences and after close start he was always able to make a gap behind his first spot. At the end, Oliver had serious bad luck what meant leaving his second position. That one came to Michal Vítámvás, securing it with two 2 point final heats. Oliver finished third. Martin Kratochvíl finally beat his father Karel and grabbed home fourth position. Fifth position was taken by Karel KratochvÍl.

STOCK is becoming more and more popular in Czech Republic. Particularly 28 drivers hit the race track, what meant also very nice fights and competitive atmosphere. In qualifications Jarda Kopecký jr. took TQ beating his main rival Oliver Havránek. But it seems like victory is not Jarda´s destiny, because Oliver was able to overtake him in all final heats he appeared. Jarda finished second and third spot went to Martin Kratochvíl, who had such a successful weekend. Karel Kratochvíl covered his son´s back again finishing as fourth. Tono Sloboda took fifth position then.

Third round of Xray Winter Series was organized really well. Christmas atmosphere smelled through the hall, racers wore santa´s caps and tasted Christmas sweets. And even though this time competition was really tough, drivers seemed to feel relieved and full of relax. That´s how should it be.
