The first Saturday in January was the right day to welcome drivers on 3rd round of HIT winter racing series with no. 116. Long pause running through 3 months obviously kicked up participation as more than 120 incomers should have come. Including a few international drivers of course.

Particularly it was Jürgen Horn - Stock class master coming all equipped with another two fellows. We expected very close battles in slower 4WD class, because another great and young driver ⓠOliver Havránek, sign himself up so. But this should be solved rather later than now. There were also a couple of shining names In Modified class.

Maybe just coincidence pinning 3rd round of HIT to mentioned date gave some extras for participants. At first, Friday´s free practise was opened free of charge. So that drivers could set their pits and prepare themselves for the race earlier.
One news was not enough. As a lot of people ask organizers to allow 1/12, pray was taken seriously. Also there was an updated version of âžLet´s HIT the trackâś stickers in many colourful versions. Not speaking about banners in traditional blue-yellow colours making the atmosphere more competitive.

Hobby:
The youngest member of Rajdus family showed racing talent given to their family fully. Unfortunately only in qualifications. After them he suffered some signs of illness and his father completed the task. TQ man Igor KratochvĂl finished second and third position came to Igor Vlahovič. Radko Černohous jr. proved very nice racing prized with fourth spot. Lukáš Grabiec took the fifth place.
Super Race Truck:
The âžclass full of crazily shaped boxesâś becomes bigger and bigger. So that please don´t take my first expression seriously. Compared to the first race, where just two trucks hit the track, amount of drivers increased 5 times. From ten racing trucks on starting grid the yellow one from Roman Ĺ talmach was fast enough to bring home victory. Second place secured Leoš Zádrapa beating up Tomáš BrodskĂ˝. Nestor of class â“ Olin BětĂk came up fourth and Petr Jaremejko having a successful premiere in HIT series ended up fifth.
LeMans:
Roman KrejčĂ running out of order led the starting grid during all day. But official first was reached by Igor Liptak, who had beaten all 2WD maniacs from eastern Moravia. This crew was represented by Luděk Szostek on second place & Libor Holub on the third spot. Miroslav Jurenka took fourth place a Ladislav Holásek finished fifth.

Formula:
I´ll start my description with âśopenâť specification which is less participated. Milan Peška was the winner of this three horse race. Second place came to JaromĂr Sattler and Igor KratochvĂl finished as third. As expected, VĂťa Parák showed just his back to the rest of the field. Using Xray X1 chassis with his homemade conversion kit he gave chance to nobody. Second place took Tomáš BrodskĂ˝, who is also very experienced in F1 racing. Third spot came to Libor Holub, who proved very well. As each podium position was taken, Luděk Szostek had to satisfy himself with fourth place, just in front of Tomáš Rajdus.
1/12:
Newly opened class attracted eight drivers with crazily fast RC stuff. Even though Kuba Ĺ imurda was expected to become the early leader, Igor Liptak exploited his technical issues and took TQ. In finals Kuba coming from second place on the grid had more luck than Igor and crashing less with one-lap-behind drivers reached victory. Second place went to Igor Liptak and third spot was secured by Roman KrejčĂ. Another Roman â“ Roman BĂlek took fourth position and finally fifth place, where underdog Zdeněk Beneš finished.

TC Stock:
Our assumptions were fulfilled completely. Right at the beginning JĂĽrgen Horn took the lead and for finals there was nothing in front of his window. Behind him finished Oliver Havránek and VĂťa Hola. But in final heats there was an inversed story. JĂĽrgen wasn´t able to make a flawless drive what was only an advantage for Oliver, who brought home two victories from the first two finals. Rest of the story was a clear thing as JĂĽrgen became runner-up in front of VĂťa Hola, Manfred Pasch and Karel KratochvĂl completing the TOP5.
Open:
Queen of 1/10 racing â“ Modified class finally touched number of twenty drivers divided into two groups. In the faster one Kuba Ĺ imurda reached TQ and then also overall victory. Jirka VyšĂn was not so far, but still unable to fight the leader. VĂťa Hola proved the same result as in Stock class â“ another podium finish for this likable driver. Great performance, that´s how we could sum up result from Pavel Martinec. Starting from 8th on the grid he managed to climb up very high. Behind his back there was a spot for Oliver Havránek and Mateusz Ogonowski finished 6th.
