Our young team driver Alfred Lao joined 2016 Lunar New Year Cup located in Guangzhou Soar Speedway on 21st Feb 2016, Electric Car MOD class.
There were three preliminary heats and three rounds in Final.
Alfred got 2nd position and 3rd position in two rounds in Qualify. So at the end, he got the 3rd position in the preliminary heat.

A new set of tires was used in the final. Alfred kept steady pace and after the 2nd place driver made a few mistakes, Alfred made his move to overtake him and maintain his position until the finish line. In the second final Alfred was chasing the leader, another XRAY driver Liu Ring, the whole race, however Liu with his flawless run was the first to cross the finish linewith alfred some 0.3 sec behind.
