The last round of the Maltese Onroad Championship 2016, was held on Sunday, 22nd May, at the IRMCC track in Pembroke. The track was in very good condition and the weather was sunny and very hot.
I managed to TQ and win 1st place, leading the race from start to finish. This sealed my overall victory at this yearâ™s Maltese Onroad Nitro F2 Championship, driving the XRAY NT1 2015 edition powered by Novarossi.
Special thanks goes to my father Mario Spiteri (mechanic and pitman), and to Chris Agius Techlab for all the help and patience with the technical setup. A big well done goes to the other Team XRAY Malta drivers, namely Charles Vassallo and William Mallia, who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall.
My congratulations for the effort go to the other drivers in the championship and to the IRMCC committee for the organisation.
