What a great weekend! 5th Austrian Nationals are done, it took place in Laa an der Thaya by Mod RaceLaa04. This track is one of my favorites. We were divided into 3 classes Formula, Stock and Modified. The weather was great the whole weekend. The event was perfectly organized by the team from Mod RaceLaa04 and they also did a great job preparing the track.

Stock
In all 4 Qualification rounds we saw a great fight between Nico Haider and Philipp Neudinger. Philipp could take the first Qualification round in front of Nico. But Nico fought back. He could manage round 2, 3 and 4. So Nico got TQ with his XRAY T4 in front of Philipp and on 3th position was Christian Völker with his XRAY T4.
Finals were very special. It was again Nico and Philipp who fought very hard for the win. Nico had a lot of pressure from Phillipp. But Philippâ™s motor got too hot, so Nico could take the win in final 1 and 2. Great job also from Christian Völker and Manfred Pasch who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
My LRP powered XRAY T4 2016 worked very well the whole race. I was able to take TQ in front of my team mate Manuel Gremlica and Dominic Vogl.

The Finals were an easy win for me with perfect start and no mistakes during the race. But we saw a great fight for the second place between Manuel and Dominic. This two guys fought very hard. But it was Dominic who was luckier this time and got the second position.

Formula
Andreas Stiebel was the man this weekend in formula. He TQed and won this round without making any mistake. Rene Kronsteiner finished second and Thomas Dvorsky took the last podium spot.

Overall it was a great day for XRAY winning all classes. Great job to everyone! I was very happy to finish on 1st position and achieve the overall victory. It feels so great to win the Austrian National Championship for the first time. Many thanks to my sponsors!
