Race report by Zak Finlay
The final round of the 2016 BRCA National championship took place at the tight and technical West London track. The XRAY team were in attendance and hoping for another successful result at the final round of the series.

In the ProStock 13.5 class, XRAY's Zak Finlay had already secured the national title before heading into this event and in the Modified class Olly Jefferies was still in contention to take the overall title, but would need to TQ and win this event.

The drivers were greeted on Saturday morning to a very wet track and the forecast was for more unsettled weather throughout the day. With only two of the five qualification rounds being ran on Saturday this meant it was still all to play for on Sunday morning.

In the 13.5 class Zak would continue to lead from the front taking his XRAY T4 to the overall TQ position, ahead of James Hart in 2nd and Chris Clark in 3rd. Dan Blake running his XRAY T4 would also have a very solid set of qualifying runs and managed to secure himself 4th on the grid for the A-Main. The finals would see close racing throughout, with Zak eventually taking the win to make it a clean sweep in the national series, with wins at all five rounds.

In the modified class, XRAY's Olly Jefferies would be unfortunate with a string of bad luck in qualifying which lead to him lining up 4th for the A-main and therefore meant he could no longer take the overall national title. Olly fought hard during the finals, with some excellent racing, in an attempt to improve his 4th place qualifying position but unfortunately wasn't able to make the podium at this round.
