On Wednesday everyone was given the same car for the stock category which we assembled and in the afternoon we were also allowed a free practice. The official opening of the race was on Thursday, where we could witness a very interesting cultural program - acrobatic flying with RC aircraft, dance group performance, laser show etc. After the controlled practice, I finished on 1st place in Stock and on 3rd place in modified. After 6 successful qualifying rides, I got TQ in both categories. In the final races, both cars functioned as a "Swiss watch". In the stock category I managed to keep the first place before Filip Rajdus on the 2nd place and Filip Obora on 3rd place.
In the modified category I had to fight with Harley Eldridge, who was breathing my neck in a tight race.
As I managed to keep calm I could shake her off and then she fought Matej Ĺ ulc for 2nd and 3rd place with better finish for Matej. After victories in the final races in both categories, I defended the IYRCA title from last year.

Formula report by Simon Horak
I took part in the category FORMULA 1 with the XRAY X1 chassis. I was trying different settings from the first day of the race. I focused on aerodynamics of the model after the set-up of the chassis. I managed to have the best lap.
We had practice on Thursday morning and I tried to fine tune all details. There was an opening ceremony and an introduction in the afternoon. Mr Dallas Mathiesen introduced us the history of IFMAR. There were timed practices on Friday. I fineshed on the first position and that was why I had the first position for the qualifications. The first qualifications took place on Friday morning. Unfortunately I made some changes and my driving was not good.
There were another five qualifications on Saturday and I gained the first place at the start and I won TQ. Free training was at the beginning of the last day of the championship. I was on the first position throughout the first final ride but the Chinese racer closed the track in the last minute and I finished on the second position after Tomas Rajdus. I was successful at the second and the third final ride and I won the first position and defeated Tomas Rajdus, Marcel Dostal, Branislav Panak and the last year champion Xu Zi Yang.
