Over the weekend I headed out to Southside RC in Lake City, FL for some club racing despite all of the rain lately. The track crew did a great job getting the track ready and it had lots of traction. In my first qualifier I was able to come away with overall TQ. Before the second qualifier I made a couple minor changes to car to help improve traction in the slick conditions and set overall TQ once again.

Going into the 15min main I knew my car was good and would just make a compound change anticipating the moisture coming up. I would start first in the main and knew I just had to be smooth and consistent in order to take the win. After a few laps second place would make a mistake giving me some breathing room where I would begin just putting down laps and come home with the win.
