The club did an awesome job with everything been working well. Due the limited pit areas lot of drivers were able to attend and fight for the top spots in Touring Car Stock, Touring Car Modified, 1/12 Pan Car (13.5t), 1/12 Pan Car GT (17,5t) and Formula One. Free practice began on Saturday with the drivers testing and trying to find their perfect setup with enough steering while not traction rolling on this high bite track. Because of my limited track time the last few month I had to work a lot, but I found my perfect setup again with my T4 2018 working none the less again.

Things became serious on Saturday. Qualification started 9:30 for the Stock drivers. In Q1 I was able to TQ by 1.4 sec in front of Jens Haller, who decided Q2 for himself. He is one of the ’žmost feared“ drivers on this track as he is absolutely insane on this track and knows how to drive there. In Q3 it was an up and down with the positions changing until the very split seconds. In the end I TQed Q3 by 0.3 sec as well which meant P1 for the finals.

In Formula it was all about Johannes Fecher and Daniel Schober with their X1´s. Nobody had a big advantage compared to the other which resulted in intense, but still fair fights. In the end Daniel decided the TQ spot for himself.
In 1/12 EB it was all about David Ranft who was unbeatable this time. He decided all three qualification rounds for himself in front of Sebastian Fenske and Alain Levy.
1/12 GT class was dominated by Rüdiger Römling. He was able to take all three qualis as well. Thomas Namyslo and Bertram Kessler completed the top spots for the finals.

Finals started around 1 pm. In stock things became breath-taking again. Right after the first few laps Jensand myself were able to push away from the field again. As I decided to go on a slightly less steering setup because of the fear for traction rolling Jens was clearly faster. As I was in front I had to block im the remaining 5:30 min. No room for mistakes otherwise the final would have been done.
Unfortunately Jens had a technical problem 2 min until the end so I was able to take A1 with not so much pressure anymore. For A2 I wrenched my car slightly more aggressive, but as the track became more traction than I thought I traction rolled after 1:10 min. Jens was able to take A2.

In the end I was able to take A3 right in front of him. Awesome racing by Jens! All was kept fair and respect was shared to each other.
In Formula Johannes and Daniel kept on the fight from the qualis. But with Daniel being the one with more track time and having the better car he was able to take all three finals.
In 1/12 David was unstoppable. He was able to take all three finals as well with a margin lead. Behind him it was Sebastian Fenske and Alain Levy who fighted for the 2nd and 3rd spot. But also the two 1/12 new comers who attended their first 1/12 race ever did an awesome job with becoming faster and faster each run. It was nice to share some of my 1/12 experience with them in order to get them faster. That’s what the hobby is about in my eyes.
In 1/12 GT RĂĽdiger was able to take the win in front of Thomas Namyslo and Bertram Kessler, so no position changes compared to the qualis. The young Jody MĂĽller did an fabulous job as well with taking the ’žbest junior“ title.
In the end I would like to thank everybody who attended this race. The atomsphere was super nice and I am looking forward to further races.
