Round 1 of XRS Slovenia 2018 took place at the new venue this year − Pista verde Fener (Italy). Weather forecast was quite cold but dry…so it was supposed to be the first weekend in March to be dry…fortunately.
On Saturday a lot of drivers were already present at the track as they wanted to test as much as possible after the winter indoor season.
The electric categories were run with HUDY controlled tires, HW motors and HUDY additive, while in 1/8 IC Track we opted to go for a mixed rule situation for the first year with some drivers using free tires with additive, but the drivers who race for championship used the Contact tires and so they also collected points for it.

1. Andrea Ghilotti - XRAY X1
2. Flavio Brun
3. Andrea Grigoletto
TQ in F1 21.5 XRS went to Andrea Ghilotti (XRAY X1), second was Andrea Grigoletto and third Flavio Brun.
In TC 13.5 XRS it was a battle between Gabriel and Alessandro. At the end it was Alessandro who managed to take the overall win from Gabriel. Third place went to Lovro Ĺ ušteršič.

2. Fabio Vigani
3. Nejc Mihelič
In 1/8 IC Track the overall win went to the TQ driver Mattia Collavo, second place went to Fabio Vigani and third was Nejc Mihelič. Looking at the classification of the XRS championship (control tire rule) the win went to Nejc Mihelič, second was AnĹľe Ĺ etina (XRAY RX8) and third went to Jernej Vuga Ĺ tendler who did not take part in the final due to organization duties (time keeping).
