GTX8 wins at QLD GP Onroad States, Australia |

Well what a weekend at the QRCCRA 2018 RCRA Qld IC Onroad Championship, had one of those up and down weekends and got to meet some great people.
On Friday, it all started with practice, started out well, car was feeling easy to drive and fast but as the day got on it become harder to drive as tracks grip come up, made some changes but only made it worst.
On Saturday, qualifying started, well the car was much better only to run into more problems this time it was the engine first the tune went crazy then it decide to throw a conrod, and we had only finish one qualifier and it wasn't looking good, we had to get other engine and the spare was at home ( and that was a 2 hour round trip to get) made the decision to go and get scarified a qualifier or two, last qualifier of the day and we made it, car ran well and was a relief.

On Sunday, one more qualifier to go and car was ready, the engine ran well but the car didn't feel that good and we put down to the track been a little cold at the end of all the qualifiers and even after all the problems we had we qualified 10th for the A main!
I final, well I had nothing to lose and I thought I would go for it, started out well, moved from 10th to 2nd in 3 laps and was feeling great and the car felt fast and easy to drive, decided to chase down first place ( Ian Haley ) car was feeling good and consistent, on the 78 lap, 1st placed driver ran into some back markers that had crashed and I sore a gap and went for it and snuck through for 1st and the next 3 laps, I keep my calm and focus on the finish and tried not to make mistakes and well with less than 1 second different in the end I made it on the 1st place!
