The final two rounds of 1/8 Czech Nationals 2018 took place last weekend on my home track in Horni Jeleni.
We had a open practice on Friday afternoon. I tested some setup changes, but mainly tires for the race.

The 5th round:
With Nitro it was me on the top after qualifications, so I was starting first in Semi final A. Martin Bayer put a great run in his Semi B to take the pole position in the 45 minute Nitro final, I was starting 2nd and Jiri Mara 3rd. Straight after the start Martin made a mistake which allowed me to take the lead, Martin recovered fast back. I tried to fight him after the last fuel tanking, but didnâ™t manage to do anything, so Martin won, I was 2nd and Jiri Mara 3rd. I also took the 1st place as the best Junior in both classes.

It was Karel Novotny took the overall TQ spot on the grid with E buggy. The finals went much better to my side, because I was able to take the win in A1 and A3 to bring home the overall win, Ales Bidovsky finished 2nd and Karel 3rd.

The 6th round:
With Nitro Martin took the TQ spot now, Karel Novotny was 2nd and me 3rd. The main final grid order was the same as the results after qualies. Again we ran the final for 45 minutes, this time Martin didnâ t make any mistake, pulled away fast and was able to hold the lead to the line to take the win, I was fighting with Karel for the 2nd place but in the end I took it and Karel finished 3rd. And again I was the best Junior in both.

This time it was Ales on the top spot after qualifying, Karel was 2nd and me 3rd. As Ales went really fast, Karel and I didnâ™t manage to stop him, so the results were the same as after qualies, Ales 1st, Karel 2nd and me 3rd.

As it was the final round, we also had a overal championship ceremony.
Martin Bayer was crowned the Czech National champion with full points he could get!
In E buggy it was Karel Novotny who was crowned the overall champion!
I am the double Junior National champion and Jaroslav Valder is the double Senior National champion!
