Race Report by Greger Landén
This weekend saw the first round of the Winter Indoor RB series. This time it was held in Eskilstuna on a fairly small tight track with old school touring carpet, so the grip level was quite a lot lower than the now frequently used EOS style carpet. Never the less, it was fun racing and a good organization of the event from the club.

In 4wd the feeling was good from the start, even though we were using the '19 updates and weren't completely familiar with all the new settings, the car was ok from the start, and since we were running both classes in one day, we decided to keep it as it was...

Alexander was able to secure the TQ spot by taking the first two qualifying rounds with very stable drives, so he would start on pole for the finals.

Since it was a very tight track it was hard to overtake, so starting first was a good thing. The first final Alexander was able to take from tone to tone. In the second round Alexander made an error on the first lap and had to let most of the field past. Then a frantic chase began, and he was able to get all the way up to first spot again, only to hit a car that flipped onto the straight just before the finish of the final lap and he was passed by Pontus Larsson, Alexander came in second with Felix Angseryd third. This meant that going into the third final Alexander, Pontus and Felix could all still take the win.

The third final became a really tight affair between the three drivers, but Alexander was able to grab the win and take the overall win, with Pontus second and Felix third overall!

There was also a 2WD part in the race. Here we were also using the new '19 upgrades, and even if we got the car working ok, it is clear that we need to work more in the settings department on this type of traction. Pontus Larsson put in a stunning drive and seemed to have the car working great as well, so it was hard keeping up. Pontus and Alexander were 1 and 2 pretty much all day, and Pontus could secure the win in the first two final rounds.
