Race Report by Ethan Lefebvre
This past weekend I attended the last round of the 2018 Thornhill Championship Series. Throughout the series I only ran nitro buggy. It allowed me to help teammates improve their cars and gain some positions in the series in their classes.

After 8 rounds over 10 months I was able to take the overall win in the Nitro Buggy class! Chris Allison would end up 3rd and Drew Morris would finish in a strong 5th both with their XB8 18s also!

Race Report by Daniel Grobe
This Series was a series that lasted around 8 months I believe, I started the series running Electric Truck, because that was the hot class. We had over 30 trucks at many points during this series. It was hotly contested all series.

This weekend we had 15 trucks show up for the final event, I would run a few practice runs, to get back into the groove of running truck, after taking time away to focus on nitro buggy the last month or so.

In Q1, I put a pretty good run in, very stable, and tried not to make any mistakes. I took TQ, this would be my best run of the day, after trying tires, and some ride height changes in Q2, and Q3.

For the double A mains, I would go back to the tires I ran in Q1, and starting up front, me and 2nd place were clear of the mayhem through the first few corners. We would break away with a tight battle the whole race until Tom made a mistake, I was able to open a gap and cruise to a victory in A1.

In A2, Tom had trouble off the start, broke a drive shaft, and it would then be an easy win from there as well taking the overall for the day, as well as taking the #1 spot in the overall for the series.
