These narrow pinions are manufactured by XRAY on a specially-modified precision gear machine for ultra-precise tolerances and unparalleled concentricity. After machining, the edges are chamfered, the pinions are run in, and then they are specially treated with an even hardcoating so they stay absolutely true for a long time. The pinions run well with any spur gears, and work perfectly with XRAY spur gears where even throttle on/off noise is dramatically diminished. Brass suspension holders were created to add additional weight to the car to attain the minimum weight limit, and to replace other chassis-mounted weights which negatively influence chassis flex. The brass holders are 3x heavier than aluminum holders, they place the extra weight equally on left and right sides, and they keep the CG as low as possible while not introducing negative flex to the chassis. Moreover, the brass holders also influence the handling characteristics, and may be used for further fine tuning the car’s set-up.

The all-new, unique floating servo holder set includes graphite holder and aluminum bushings. The floating steering system is disconnected from the chassis and works fully independently without affecting flex. This makes the car easier to drive in high-traction conditions, and chassis roll is reduced especially driving through the curbs. The car also handles better on bumpy tracks.

In combination with #302570 Steering Plate you can adjust 4 different flex characteristics. Using the graphite steering plate, chassis flex is medium; when using the steering plate with aluminum stand, flex becomes stiffer which results in more aggressive handling and increased steering.

The legendary XRAY aluminum shock absorbers come now in a black color edition especially for those non-XRAY drivers who wish to have some of the best performing 1/10 touring car shock absorbers. Suggested to use with the #308039 - Alu Progressive Shock System which improve traction and steering characteristics. Shock insert has 3 triangle cuts and is used with piston without holes. The hardness of the shock is influenced not by the holes in the piston but with the insert and the dampening characteristics changes during the cornering depending on the corner entry or exit.

The aluminum shock absorbers have been specially developed to lower the CG of the car to improve stability. With the new SLP shocks, the car stays flatter, making it easier to drive in chicanes. The unique SLP aluminum shock absorbers have interchangeable internal parts, with fixed 1-piece precision pistons which are available with 3 or 4 holes, and three different-diameter holes for damping adjustment: 1.0mm, 1.1mm, and 1.2mm. No matter what you choose, all pistons are ultra-true and round thanks to a very special mould design, resulting in ultra-free movement of the piston inside the shock body.

The XRAY aluminum shock absorbers come with all necessary parts to build one pair of shocks (2 shocks). Springs and shock oil are not included and must be purchased separately.

New extra-strong ECS drive shafts sets with new reinforced drive shaft, drive shaft case, and drive axle.

The ECS drive shaft equalizes the speed between the drive shaft and the wheel. With a unique 2-piece joint between the axle and the wheel, the same extreme wheel turning angle is divided into two shallower angles to prevent joint binding. New innovative progressive shock system for touring cars for improved traction and steering characteristics. Shock insert has 3 triangle cuts and is used with piston without holes. The hardness of the shock is influenced not by the holes in the piston but with the insert. The insert is mounted into the shock with wider surface on the bottom of the shock and narrower on the top. When the piston is at the bottom of the shock, it moves softer and dampening becomes harder when the piston is going to the top. This means that the shock dampening is softer in the first part of movement and becomes harder when the car is moving more. The shock inserts must always be used with pistons without holes, must be used both front & rear, and only on asphalt. The same oil is used in these insert-equipped shocks as with standard shocks. The inserts are CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, and are black coated. The pistons are molded using special processes & composites to ensure roundness, while maintaining maximum stiffness and durability. The pistons are additionally precisely grinded.
