Race Report by Alexander Hagberg
The first race of the popular and competitive Euro Touring Series took place once again at the Modellbau Fair in Vienna over the weekend of 26-28th of October. The XRAY team was in full force with a good line up in each class. We were anxious but confident to fight for the win in each category.

In the modified TC class, I had a pretty solid qualifying where I qualified 3rd, and with a pace good enough to fight for TQ in each round. Small margins which in the end did not favour my program, eventually rewarded me with 3rd. I was able to hold on to 3rd place after the triple A-finals as well, however, after struggling a little to find the pace that I had in qualifying. 3rd is still a decent start to the the season and brings lots of motivation for the upcoming rounds! Bruno Coelho showed superb pace, but eventually finished 6th overall after some problems in the finals. Our new team member Elliott Harper did a stellar job to put his T4'19 on the 7th spot on the grid after qualifying! He could have needed a bit more luck in the finals, and would eventually have to settle for 8th overall! A very strong result on his first ETS outing with the new car and team! Marco Kaufmann bumped up into the A-final as well, thanks to the new bump up system used at the ETS - Marco eventually finished 10th overall, and as a result of him bumping up, XRAY had 4x T4'19 cars in the strong A-final field!

3. Jan Ratheisky - XRAY X1

In the Pro Stock class, our reigning ETS champion Jan Ratheisky lacked a bit of luck and pace in the qualifiers, and eventually qualified 4th. A very strong performance from the young German driver Lukas Ellerbrock saw him put his T4 in 3rd after the qualifiers. It was great to see a new face from our team in the A-final! Frederik Brol?s Mikkelsen from Denmark finished 5th in this strong field - a really impressive result! Tom Kraegefski made it 4x T4'19 cars in the A-final, with his 9th overall, after bumping up from the B-final!
