Race Report by Alexander Vaughn
Another epic day of racing at the anyways exciting Leisure Hours Raceway and Hobbies of Joliet, Illinois would take place this past Wednesday night during the 2018 Wednesday Night Turkey Nationals! 17.5 2wd buggy and 13.5 Wheeler would be my classes of choice with the last minute entry sign up into Mod Wheeler to help due to low turn out.

17.5 2wd buggy went better than expected with qualifying 2nd and taking home 2nd behind Austin Wick. Also for 13.5 and Mod Wheeler I took home a TQ in both classes and wins as well. Super proud of the performance of my Xray XB2D â€19 and XB4 â€18 buggies on Proline rubber during the quals and finals. Motiv’s new MC3 line of motors for sure will be the ticket for success this indoor season and the performance of my MC3 17.5 was out of this world!
