Race Report by Greger Landen
This weekend we attended the Winter Cup series that is being held in the south of Sweden. This round was hosted by Klippan RC-klubb. And as always it was very nice to visit and meet the friendly crowd at Klippan RC.

We hadn't had the opportunity to visit the track for practice before the race, so we basically started from zero with the setup knowledge of the track, which of course was a deficit.

However, we found a good base with a few adjustments to the cars. We softened the front of the XB2 to gain some more steering an stiffened up the rear of the XB4 to get it to be a bit more responsive, Alexander could then work with his driving to find the pace. We were very happy to see that we were able to run lap times that were competitive to fight for the top spots.

The day was not without trouble though, we had a strange problem with making run-time during the whole day. We had two times that the car came off the track with a completely ballooned lipo and two other times that we didn't make the full time at full speed. In the end we found out that our charger's balancing circuit had been damaged and had been under-charging one of the cells and over-charging the other one, which essentially destroyed the cells. Needless to say we were a bit puzzled before we found this out.

In 4WD Hampus and David won one each of the first finals, but with better batteries for the final round Alexander was able to take that one.

4WD Buggy Results
1. Hampus Berg
2. David Hassel - XRAY XB4
3. Alexander Landén - XRAY XB4

Anyway, to come off with a third place in 4wd and a sixth in 2wd with those circumstances is ok....

Thank you to Anders and David Hassel who lent us fresh batteries or the final A-main, we really appreciate the help when we were in a pinch.

Thanks to all of our sponsors and supporters.
