The famous Hudy Arena hosted the Xray Xmas open race few days before the new year, on the 29th December.
There was as usually open practice on Friday, qualifies and finals on Saturday and everything was going as we are used to from the XRS.
The qualies started with Martin Bayer on the top in both 2WD and 4WD. In 2WD Adam Izsay put also his best run in the Q1 as well as Martin did. I was trying something on the car in the Q2, but I made the car the best in the Q3, just missed the 2nd place by 0.5. So in the end it was Adam sitting on the 2nd spot on the grid and I was 3rd. In 4WD it was again Martin 1st followed by Adam in 2nd and me in the 3rd spot.

The finals went great to Martinâ™s side, he took the win in 2WD and 4WD right after the A1 and A2. In 4WD the 2nd place was decided after the A2, as Adam took 2nd in A1 and also A2. I could try to win the A3 to take the 2nd, but I was missing too much speed in the 4WD class, so I finished overall 3rd behind 2nd Adam and 1st Martin.

It was a fight for 2nd in 2WD as I took 2nd place in A1 and Adam took 2nd in A2. It was in the end me who managed to take the 2nd place in A3 to take overall 2nd and Adam ended 3rd.
