XRS Slovenia 2018/19 continued with the 3rd race in the new year 2019. The location of the race was the Genius Ring facility in Medeuzza.
This year the driving direction was the anti-clockwise.
Drivers from 6 different countries â“ Austria, Croatia, Germany, France, Italy and Slovenia â“ came to this race with the special guest â“ world champion Jan Ratheisky, who offered during the whole event tech support to all XRAY drivers.

We ran 3 categories: 1/10 Touring 21.5, 1/10 F1 21.5 and 1/10 Touring 13.5â¦all using controlled XRS motors and HUDY tires which worked perfectly through the whole event.
On Saturday we had free practice with ongoing tech support and product presentation during the day with the addition of the XRAY workshop which started at 18.00 and lasted till the track closed. During this time, drivers could ask questions to Jan Ratheisky and Matej Dobnikar regarding set-up and other interesting topics. A refreshment was offered by TopRC during the workshop time in order to keep drivers focusedâ¦
In the most crowded category TC 13.5, the pole went to B.A. Arnaldi after a close fight with Jan Ratheisky. Third place went to Edoardo Repetti...all 3 drivers using XRAY T4 cars.
In finals, it was a great battle between Jan and B.A. with B.A. winning the first race, Jan winning the second and the 3rd final was a deciding one and on such a tight track it is almost impossible to pass, so B.A. held the position till the end winning the overall final over Jan. Third place went to Edoardo.

In F1 21.5 it was Jan Ratheisky on pole, followed by Matej Dobnikar and Herfried Pucher.
In finals, it was a fierce battle between Jan and Matej and at the end Matej got the best on Jan winning the last 2 finals and getting the overall win. Third place went to Herfried Pucher.

| In TC 21.5 category it was Mirco Bordin on pole, followed by David Marosa and third was Samuele Papi. The victory went to the pole man Mirco Bordin, second was Samulele Papi and third David Marosa. |

Drivers with XRAY cars took 16 from 24 podium places and it was by far the most used brand at the race, as were the EZ power batteries and Montech bodyshells.
After the prize ceremony we had a tombola with some great prizes!
