The 1st round of XRS Greece offroad took place as usual at Fanatix track Athens. Cold weather and track changes from time to time gave a great atmosphere to the race with drivers looking for the best suitable setup. Moreover, it was the first test for 1/8 nitro buggy cars on astroturf terrain.

The 2wd drivers had a lot of difficulties to find the right setup because of the whole week rain the track was slippery from qualifications to final rounds. Drivers managed to make 12laps in qualifications and only 9 laps in the last 3rd final round late afternoon. Winner was young Kalantzakis in front of his father, both of them with XRAY XB2. Third place, first time on podium, went to Kourkoumelis!
It was easier for 4wd cars and they were a bit faster. Ilias Arkoudaris won the race not easy as he was closely followed by Katsigiannis and Lignos in his first appearance in XRS. Perialis was 4th, much better than his first race.

1/8 Nitro Buggy was a test for drivers and track. The results were a complete satisfaction as the cars had a lot of traction, no damages at all and great competition as the track is small and tight to make passes. Bornovas won the test race with young talented Christodoulou 2nd and Arkoudaris 3rd with great fights between them in the whole 30 minute final.
