XRS Slovenia 2018/19 finished with RD4 race at the Genius Ring facility in Medeuzza.
This year the driving direction was this time clockwise.
Drivers from 6 different countries â“ Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Italy and Slovenia came to the last event of the series with Such great names, such as the world champion Jan Ratheisky.
We ran 2 categories: 1/10 F1 21.5 and 1/10 Touring 13.5â¦all using controlled XRS motors and HUDY tires which worked perfectly through the whole event.
On Saturday we had free practice with ongoing tech support and product presentation during the day with the addition of the XRAY live workshop which started at 19.00. We made a nice live streaming with Jan Ratheisky and Matej Dobnikar regarding the new features on the XRAY cars and other interesting topics.
Sunday after the briefing we started with qualifying. In the TC 13.5 the pole went to Jan Ratheisky, followed by Matej Dobnikar and Fabio Ghilotti...all 3 drivers using XRAY T4 cars.
In finals, it was a great battle between Jan, Matej and Andrea, but since Jan was starting on pole, he closed the door very good, so it was impossible to pass him and he won the first two finals. It was to be decided between Matej and Andrea in the last round, but they were racing on the limit and mistakes can happen. After a collision, Rok Rudl took the opportunity and won the last final, which gave him the 3nd place at the end and Andrea would come as the runner up. Matej eventually dropped to fourth place. |

In F1 21.5 it was Matej Dobnikar on pole, followed by Jan Ratheisky and Valentin Mis, all using XRAY X1 cars.
In finals, it was a fierce battle between Matej and Jan and at the end Matej got the best on Jan winning the first 2 finals and getting the overall win. Third place went to Valentin Mis. |

XRAY drivers took 17 out of 21 podium places and it was by far the most used brand at the race, as were the EZ power batteries and Montech bodyshells.
After the race results it was time to present the new XRS Slovenia 2018/19 champions!
XRS Slovenia 2018/19 Champion in 1/10 Touring Stock 21.5T is Tomin Stucin, vice champion is Kristjan Miklozic and third is Mirco Bordin!

After the prize ceremony we had a tombola with some great prizes and also we gave a special present to the drivers who attended all the races of the series!

But we are already preparing for you the outdoor series XRS Alpe Adria 2019, starting on 31st March in Tolminâ¦registration is already open on myrcmâ¦donâ™t miss it!
