The 3rd round of 2019 Czech Open series took a place last weekend at my home track in Horni Jeleni.
Water fell down on the track on Friday morning, so the track was nicely wet in the afternoon for practice and it got in a nice shape for the race on Saturday.
In the morning the qualies started, we drove 4 runs with Ebuggy and 5 qualies with Nitro, as there werenâ™t so many entries, so we had time. I was able to take the TQ with Ebuggy as well as with Nitro, Tomas Kapicka took 2nd and Martin Vins 3rd. In Ebuggy it was Jiri Benes 2nd and Michal Binder 3rd.
With Nitro we had only the one main 30min final, I started off strong making the gap already on the first lap, which I was able to make even bigger through the run and in the end cross the finish line first! Tomas Kapicka finished 2nd also with a comfortable gap from 3rd, which was Vladimir Pour.

I was able to convert the TQ into the win with Ebuggy, as I won A1 and A2 with a huge gap. Then it was a fight between Jiri and Michal, as both of them didnâ™t finish one run, but in the end it was Jiri 2nd and Michal 3rd.

I am super happy about both of my cars, they were working just great! This was the final 1/8 race on this track, so itâ™s nice to end it with double TQ and Win. Now we are gonna work on the new one right next to the old one, to get it ready for some upcoming races!
