Race Report by Paul Ciccarello
Back from AMS 10.0!! It was a great event, the track was less radical in terms of big air than last year but still challenging enough that you had to really hit your marks to be fast. I also enjoyed getting done early every day, it was a much less stressful and we got to enjoy a nice dinner every night after the race and good sleep!

This year Ty, Gord and Tanner Stees were able to attend, they chose to run the thursday practice which was good for me since I couldn't get there early. They were able to dial in the cars so when it was time for me to run I was really close right off the bat!

I ran +40 ebuggy, +40 nitro buggy and Pro Ebuggy. I was able to TQ Both +40 classes with some challenges from Drew Spurgen, Gary Studt, and Mike Sontag. In Pro ebuggy I qualified 9th in the B main with 2 -15th place runs.

In the +40 nitro main I was able to take the lead right off the start and pull away a little, Gary was able to take the lead when I came in to pit because he was going for the longer pit strategy. Since he was doing that I knew I had to push and limit my mistakes to be able to keep a good enough gap with my extra stop. In the end I took the win, my car and tires were great and I didnt have to get marshaled the whole 30 minutes from my own mistakes so that was really good!

In the first +40 ebuggy main, I made some early driving mistakes and fell back to second. Gary would lead most of the race but he got caught up with some back markers and I was able to get by. The end result was me taking the win by 4 tenths of a second. It was a really exciting race! In A2 again I made a mistake on the first lap and that let Drew get by, he was running a good race until he had a body issue which let me retake the lead. Him and Mike then were putting pressure on me but Drew had a battery issue and Mike took a close second.

Race Report by Ty Tessmann
This past weekend we headed to Cullman, Alabama for the 2019 Alabama Manufacturers Shootout. This would be our first time attending this race.

We arrived late Wednesday night and were at the track bright and early Thursday morning for practice as we opted to run the practice option #1, we spent the day getting a setup and our tires figured out as we had not been there before and wanted to get as much data as possible.

Friday we had a final practice run for everyone and one qualifier, I was on a TQ run in buggy and crashed on my own and ended up with a 4th, in truggy I TQ´d the first round.

Saturday would be 2 more rounds of qualifying and I would end up 4th overall in buggy and 2nd overall in truggy.
Some lower mains were run on Saturday night, and the rest were run on Sunday.

Up first on Sunday was the nitro buggy main, the changes in the track surface were huge between Thursday and Sunday, it even changed a lot from the A main warm up to the main, we had a 5 minute warm up early in the day for nitro buggy, the traction had come up a lot and my car was not setup for that. I made a few mistakes and had a couple of flame out issues due to no fault of my engines. I would end up finishing 9th overall, not the result I was going for but we will get it figured out for the nationals.

Up next was the truggy main, I battled the whole time with different drivers but in the end I was able to take the win.
