This past weekend I attended the 3rd and 4th round of 1/8 Czech Nationals with Nitro and E buggy in Zidlochovice! It was one round on Saturday and another one on Sunday.
We came to the track on Friday late afternoon and I tried mainly different types of tires and didnâ™t touch the setup so much.

On Saturday, in the morning qualifications started, with me taking the TQ in Q1 in both classes. I was able to take the TQ in Q2 with both also, so I decided to try different type of tire for the Q3, which wasnâ™t that good, but still I took the TQ in Q3 also. After qualies with Nitro it was Jiri Mara 2nd and Ales Bidovsky 3rd. With Ebuggy it was Marek Schiller 2nd and Ales again 3rd.
For the semi-final, I went back to what I had before and took the win, which meant I will start 1st in the main final. The start was good and I was leading the first two laps easily, but then I made a small mistake which dropped me to 2nd. After that I put some good laps in and took the lead again. Jiri was driving first when I made the mistake, but when I took the lead back he flamed out, so I had a big comfortable lead, which I was able to keep till the end and take the win! Jiri still took the 2nd and Ondrej Kulhanek finished on the 3rd place.

| With Ebuggy I was able to take an easy win in A1 and A2 to take the overall one! Marek finished overall 2nd and Stefan Lutka took the 3rd place! |

We had the same schedule for Sunday as we had on Saturday. So in the morning the qualies started with me taking TQ in both again. I took the TQ in Q2 also to secure overall TQ in both. Jiri Mara was 2nd again and Petr Klatovsky 3rd with Nitro. With Ebuggy it was Stefan 2nd and Marek Ornst 3rd.
With nitro I won the semi to take the pole position in the main final again, Jiri was starting 2nd and Petr 3rd. The start this time didnâ™t go that well, as I flamed out right at the start, because the mechanics weren't able to hear the countdown and my dad put the car down too early. But still, with the loss of almost whole lap, I was able to drive clean and fast and made it to the leader Jiri before the first fuel tanking. I was able to pass him when he was taking the fuel, after that he made some more mistakes which allowed me to pull away. In the end I won with the gap of whole lap, because I could cross the line just before the end of the 30 minute time. Jiri finished 2nd in the end and Petr Klatovsky took the 3rd place.

Both my cars were working really well all weekend long, just adjusted something on Nitro for Sunday and it was really good!
