The second round of the Xray Racing Series Slovakia took a place last weekend in the Hudy Arena! This time we saw more than 200 entries in the race, which promised some good racing on both, onroad and offroad tracks.
I arrived on Friday for free practice as always, tried some things and improved the performace of my cars!
We had as usual 3 qualifying rounds and 3 finals on Saturday. It was Martin Bayer on the top after Q1 in both classes. He was able to take the overal TQ with 2WD as he made even faster time in Q2 and nobody was able to beat it in Q3. I lined up overal 2nd and Bartosz Zalewski 3rd. In 4WD I was able to make a fast time in Q2, which secured me the overal TQ! Martin lined up 2nd and Adam Izsay 3rd behind me on the A main grid. In the Truck class it was me the overal TQ, followed by Michal Sekal and Rafal Ilendo.
4WD A1 went to Martin, who had a big gap over 2nd. As I made a stupid mistake on the second lap, I was fighting with Ales Bidovsky the whole main. We had some great fights with few overtakes, but unfortunately he was able to take 2nd and me 3rd. I didnâ™t give it up and as other guys crashed behind me, I had a clean way to take the win in the A2! Ales took 2nd and Bartosz 3rd. A3 was kind of similar, as again everybody crashed behind me, I had zero pressure and was able to take the win in A3 with big gap over 2nd, as well as the overall win!! Bartek Kramza took 2nd and Zsolt Bajusz 3rd. So I took the overal win, folowed by Ales in 2nd and Martin in 3rd.

| The A1 of 2WD went easily to Martin, as I made a mistake early in the main and had to fight with the other guys, but luckily got at least to 3rd place, behind 2nd Adam. The A2 was kind of a nightmare for me as I made many mistakes and dropped all the way down to 7th.. Martin took the win in A2 to secure the overal win. Matus Benetin took 2nd and Adam 3rd. I had to make a good run in the A3 to make the podium, so I did and finished 2nd behind Martin. We had the same points with Adam, but he won on the tie breaker, as he had faster time. So he finished overal 2nd and me 3rd. |

All in all it was another great race with great racing! All my three cars performed really well, just some stupid mistakes with 2wd cost me better positions. I would like to give a big thanks to my sponsors and parents for the support as always!
