Report by Mark Sousa
The track was treated with the similar stuff that is used at the Quebec Classic just a week prior so I was feeling pretty confident on how my car would handle. We had one seeding round on Friday which was my first time on the track so I wasn’t sure what the grip would be like but my car was still ok and was able to put 3 decent laps together to top seed.
Next day was qualifying and after making a few changes to my car after the seeding round I went out for some practice just before to see if it was better and it was. My car drove great. After Qualifying was all said and done I was able to secure the overall TQ and would start on pole for the 45 min A main.

On main day they were calling for rain so the Otterville crew tried to get through it all as fast as possible but right before the buggy main the rain began to come down slightly at first and we went ahead and raced it. The track was super slick! Almost like driving on Ice with 2x4 as tires in some corners but my XRAY powered by my FX K301 ran perfectly from start to end and my Proline M3 Invaders gave me all the grip I could ask for on the track and I was able to open up a big lead and take the win.

Also some great success for the rest of the team with Barrett Morrow taking the Ebuggy win and Dylan Raposo finishing 4th in nitro buggy.
Thank you to John Blakley, Brandon Marshall and the rest of the crew for putting on a great race and the event ran as good as it could. Thanks to my parents for the great pit stops all main. Gord Tessmann for the help behind the scenes and to all my sponsors who help me so much to get me where I am. Onto the next one.
