Race report by Paul Ciccarello
The week started off for me with attending the Drake Clinic on Thursday. I never have done one and I think as a racer you can never have too much information as long as you use it properly. Plus with him running the plus 40 class now I needed to see if I could pick up on anything that might make me faster and so I could try and challenge him when we race together.

Qualifying went pretty well, I was able to take the overall TQ in 40 plus ebuggy, TQed a round in 40 plus nitro starting second on the grid, 13th in pro ebuggy and with some bad tire choices in both my pro nitro rounds qualified 22nd.

In the 40 plus nitro main I was able to lead a couple of the first laps but made a few mistakes and dropped back to 4th. Me, Mazzara and Jason Schreffler had a great 3 way battle for second most of the race. Eventually I was able to get to second and stay there until Adam had an issue and I took over 1st and held it to the end. I was really happy with my driving and whole car package!

In the plus 40 ebuggy I decided to try a harder compound tire and it was the wrong way to go but was still able to hang on to second thankfully.
