The second round of 1/8 Czech Nationals took a place last weekend in Terezin at the RC AUTA LTM track.
We had very hot weather on Friday, dusty track and bad weather forecast for Saturday, but still many people came to practice.

The weather was changing all day, sometimes rain, sometimes sun, so it was very interesting to drive and also make the right tire choices. I was able to TQ all three qualifying runs with Ebuggy, Q1 was on dust, Q2 on wet track and Q3 on dry again. Ales Bidovsky qualified 2nd and Jiri Benes 3rd.
It started to rain right during the first group of Nitro qualies, so we expected to drive on water, but it stopped soon enough and we had nicely watered track, unfortunatelly for me I made the wrong tire and setup choice, so Jiri Mara TQed the Q1, I was 2nd and Ales Bidovsky 3rd. Later I was able to win the Q2 and Q3 to take the overall TQ in front of Jiri and Ales.

| With Nitro the Semifinals were both run on dry conditions, I was able to make the fastest time to secure the pole position for the main final, Jiri Mara was 2nd and Radim Kolek 3rd. Right before the main final it started to rain again, so we took a little break to decide if we will run the main. After some consideration and voting from the drivers, we were going to run the main. So I changed my tires again and got ready to race. It was a bit tougher than before, but I successfully held Jiri behind me and was able to win the main final with almost one lap gap in the end. He took the 2nd place and Ales Bidovsky finished 3rd overal. |

| The start into finals was looking promising, we had A1 of Ebuggy on dry conditions, which I was able to win easy with a big gap over 2nd Ales and 3rd Martin Milowsky. For the A2 it started raining a bit before, and more during, the race. I quickly changed my tires, tried to adapt to the conditions and won the A2 as well, which meant the overall win for me! Ales took again 2nd and Jan Domansky was 3rd. In the A3 it was Ales who won in front of Jan and Jiri Benes. So Ales took overall 2nd and Jan 3rd! |

| All in all it was a pretty good race from the organisation driving side, unfortunatelly not from the weather side, but that’s also racing! Both my XRAY XB8 and XB8E were working perfect on all conditions through the race! Big thanks to all my sponsors for their support and the organisator for a great race! See you next time. |
