Round #5 of the competition racing series NITRO WEST MASTERS in Germany was held on the beautiful and technical track at Dormagen this weekend. In the morning, the track was wet and dry up slowly, but in the finals the track conditions were good.
In the 1/10 Sports class XRAY driver Bernd Hasselbrink started from the 2. Place in the main final. In the last 5 Minutes of the 30 minute race he took the lead and finished first, as the flag drop down.

In the normal 1/10 class it was Hartmut Rose with his XRAY NT1, who started from the fourth position on the grid into the main final. After the start two curves later he claimed up to the second spot and he was able to escape the rest of the field. After engine trouble of the leader by halftime, Hartmut took the lead with a small gap. With other fuel strategy the lead swapped again and the decision was fallen in the last 30 seconds of the race with the victory for Hartmut.
