This Sunday marked Racink's first ever and hopefully last ever named race The 2020 Corona Cup. Only the name being something different next year but the same great race!!
The format was 4 heads up races per group per class. 4wd buggy and Ebuggy were the classes run, a very similar to the Reedy race format.
In 4wd I was able to win the first 3 races but the last one was a big challenge. This one I started in further in the back and with everyone being so close in speed there was a lot of bumping and banging. Brian handwork led most of the race until he got tied up in some traffic. Then I took over for the 4th win and crowned Corona Champion. I know it would have went down the wire had we both ran clean. XRAY team driver Adam Curry took second and privateer Dave "Twinkle Toes" Tasker took 3rd all with our XB4's

In the ebuggy class Gaven Gibler took home the 4 wins in his races and also was crowned Corona Champion. XRAY team drive Van Slutz took second and privateer Jim Billingsley took 3rd all with the XB8E, completing the XRAY podium sweep for the event!!
