Race report by Lourens Badenhorst
1/8 Nitro Truggy

It was a perfect day for Brendon Du Preez, taking top spot in all 3 qualifying rounds for the TQ place.
The race was no different, as he dominated the 45 min final running at the front until the end of the race.

I was only able to qualify 3rd, after managing to take 2nd place twice, and 3rd place in the other round. We ran 2 finals, 10 mins each with the best round to count. I had a slow start in the 1st race, causing the guy behind me to run into me, leaving me last. I fought back and managed to close in on 2nd and 3rd, but my poor soldering skills got the best of me and let me down on the last lap with an electronic failure to end up in 4th place. The 2nd race was a solid performance, and the car felt superb to take 2nd place.

I managed to take 2nd place in the first round, but missing out on the last 2 qualifying rounds, needing 2 rounds to count I had to start in 8th place for the race. The race was only 20 mins long, having a good run after some great work done by my 2 mechanics before the race to fix my front diff with only a few minutes to go before the start of the race, I managed to take 2nd place.
