From the beginning the XRAY was very fast with Oscar Vigneri taking TQ, also signing the track record.
The A-main was fought up to the 25th minute with the Capricorn driver Ciro Borrelli, the first 20 minutes Oscar was always in the lead with about 2 seconds ahead, trying to manage the race and tyre wear.
After first 20 minutes, Oscar started to push, giving his rival about 3 tenths per lap and crossing the finish line in first position.
